Moog Explains Minimoog Model D Reissue and How a Synth Works

At Moogfest 2016, held May 19-22, 2016 in Durham, NC, Moog Music reintroduced the Minimoog Model D.

Moog is utilizing ‘new old stock’ parts to fabricate it, with the objective of making it sound like a vintage Minimoog of years past. Official specs and demos are still to come, in light of the fact that Moog was collecting the underlying units on location at Moogfest.

The video below highlights the functions of a synthesizer, its oscillators, and how ADSR works.

The Minimoog Model D is estimated at US $3,499. Points of interest are still to be reported at the Moog site.
