STEVE ANGELLO LAUNCHES REMIX COMPETITION FOR KIDS UNDER 15

Renowned DJ/producer Steve Angello (former Swedish House Mafia founder) has launched a competition for young musicians (15 years of age or younger) to submit their interpretation of his most recent solo track “Children Of The Wild” feat. Mako. The winning track will be selected by Steve himself and the winner will receive a private Skype mentoring studio session with Steve and the selected track will also become the featured remix to be shared on his SoundCloud page (over 3.2 million followers). For more info on how to participate, visit: http://smarturl.it/COTW-REMIX.

Steve recognizes the power of music and how it can change lives. It provided him with new opportunities having grown up in an underprivileged community. He hopes to mentor and encourage today’s youth to become involved in music, support music education and impart the love he has for music in the hearts of young people worldwide. He has also teamed up with the Scratch DJ Academy to further this initiative and they will be including the song in their curriculum this summer.

Earlier this month, Steve graced the cover of Billboard‘s ’Top 30 EDM Power Players’ issue and delivered a stunning remix of Jean-Michel Jarre & M83‘s “Glory” (glowing press below). He also premiered the anthemic “Children Of The Wild” on International Children’s Day via Spotify and donated all stream proceeds to the Save the Children Fund.
